The Oakville School of Music & Performing Arts, and better known as the OSMPA, is a gem in Oakville for music lovers. The school is located just between third and fourth line on Speers; 1184 Speers Road on the second level.
Students as young as 4 years of age begin at the OSMPA, primarily in the school's unique "Piano Fingers Mini Camp," and go on to study in group classes during the year. While the OSMPA curriclum is based on the Royal Conservatory of Music, a Classically based system, students are exposed to a variety of styles including pop, musical theatre, rock and jazz. Students develop skills in the four pillars of music: performance, ear training, music theory and technical development.
